ShiftSafe calculates work hours based on data you manually enter. The app uses publicly available information about student visa work conditions (currently 48 hours per fortnight for Subclass 500 holders during study periods) for informational purposes only.

We cannot guarantee that this information is current, accurate, or applicable to your specific situation. Visa conditions can change. Always verify your specific visa conditions via:

• Department of Home Affairs — Student Visa (Subclass 500)
• VEVO — Visa Entitlement Verification Online
• A registered migration agent (MARA registered)

Accuracy of Calculations

ShiftSafe's hour calculations are based entirely on the data you enter. If you enter incorrect times, dates, or break durations, the calculations will be inaccurate. We are not responsible for errors arising from incorrect data entry.

The "fortnight" period used by ShiftSafe (Monday-anchored, 14-day periods from 1 January 2024) is based on our understanding of how the Department of Home Affairs calculates fortnights. However, we cannot guarantee this matches how your employer or the Department calculates your specific fortnight period.

AI Assistant

ShiftSafe's AI assistant (ShiftBot) uses artificial intelligence to help you manage shift data. AI systems can make mistakes. Always review AI-suggested actions before confirming them, particularly for deletions or bulk changes.

No Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ShiftSafe and its operator accept no liability for:

• Visa breaches or cancellations resulting from reliance on ShiftSafe
• Incorrect hour calculations due to data entry errors
• Changes to visa conditions that are not reflected in the app
• Loss of data due to technical issues
• Decisions made based on information provided by the AI assistant
